My name is Cody Weisbach, and I really like tennis.
Resilient Tennis was started because, while there’s a fair amount of ok tennis fitness and injury prevention information out there, I struggled to find really high quality, in-depth resources that takes what the pro’s are doing and scales it to the recreational and junior player’s game in a way that respects the fact that we aren’t sponsored by Nike and Rolex.
I’m a doctor of physical therapy with a bunch of advanced certifications and over 15 years of experience teaching people how to manage injuries, prevent pain and perform at a high level.
I’m also a busy 40-something husband, father of 2 kids, 3.5 level rec player looking to improve my game, move up my level (5.0 would be nice someday!), stay fit, compete, win more matches and stay healthy doing it.
But let’s cut to why you’re really reading this page and why you’re here: what’s in it for you.
Resilient Tennis is a weekly email newsletter that delivers…
- In-depth guides on how to prevent and manage the most common tennis injuries
- More in-depth guides on how to test and develop fitness specifically for tennis
- Science-based methods to improve recovery, motor learning, and more
- Honest reviews on tools and products that help tennis players perform
- The best health, wellness, technique and performance resources I find around the web
- Occasionally I’ll even include what I’m doing to improve my fitness and my game
Some of it will get published on the site as articles or blog posts, but not all of it. If you don’t want to miss anything, sign up below. Your game will thank you.
